I actually wrote the following post quite a while ago, and gave smilebox a try for the slideshow. I'm not terribly impressed. I've gone ahead and posted it anyway just to get it up already, but next time I'll try a different slideshow provider. Any suggestions?

Last March everyone around here took off for Spring Break. My Dad had a humanitarian dental trip to Mexico and Shannon and Bryan joined him. I really wanted to go, but I guess that's the price you pay when you decide to have children. Devon went down to visit Kelly in California, so that left my Mom and Brian and I.

Since she was going to be home alone, my Mom graciously invited Brian and the kids and I to join her for a night in Seaside. We had SO much fun, even though it was pouring rain! With our hoods on and umbrella opened we braved the elements for a walk around downtown and even on the beach. That evening Brian and I took Brennan to the hotel pool where after about 45 minutes, Brennan finally let Brian hold him in the pool for a few second at a time. And near the end of our swimming time, Brennan even jumped into Brian's arms in the pool. It was AMAZING! (Yeah, Brennan is NOT a waterbaby. He is terrified to be in bodies of water).

The next day before heading home we visited the Maritime Museum. They had a lightboat exhibit (a lighthouse that's a boat instead, used by the Navy or CoastGuard or something) which was pretty cool. It was a very nice little trip. Thanks, Mom.

Life is Good

I'm posting a bunch of video and pictures from the last little while. Since it's been so long, there will probably be a lot.

The video is kinda long, but I enjoy watching my kids, so if you get bored, that's your problem! =) It covers some frequent activities. Like, lately Brennan is WAY into playing on the couch cushions. They do what you'll watch every day. I keep taking video of it because it never ceases to amuse me.

Asher is very into jumping off of things. I don't know where it started, but it also includes trying to walk down stairs the front way, often without even holding on to anything. Yesterday for example, as we waited in the waiting room at the Dr.'s office, Asher spent the whole time climbing up the chair, turning around, and jumping off. Of course I held his handto assist, otherwise he'd of probably broken his leg. This child really likes to live on the edge, I guess. I'm a little nervous that as he gets older, he'll continue to continue to look for extreme-sport fun. Boys, boys, boys. I don't know how this happened to me.

The lunch-time scene in this really cracks me up. We do it during dinner on the nights when Brian's at work. We each just laugh for the sake of making the others laugh. If you haven't tried it, you oughta. It's super fun!

Nice Days

O.k. That's all for this post. I don't know about you guys, but do you find it to be a HUGE pain to get pictures in the right spot?

Senior Project is DONE! Time for Life Catch-Up

Here are some month-old videos from Brennan's birthday, if anyone is interested. I still haven't made his dinosaur cake. I guess life just moved on. I haven't forgotten though, even if Brennan has.

He is enjoying being 4. In fact, he tells everyone he meets, whether they ask for not. Just lovin' life in the big-boy zone.
