Asher's Month

The first graders gave a sweet music performance on Monday.  Ash did a super job.  Hollyn brought the toddler camera she received for Christmas and had a great time snapping a million pictures herself. :-)

 Two songs: the first one is just cute about what music makes us do.  The second is funny.

Backing up a week, Asher celebrated his 7th birthday!  This kid is growing up on us!  He's such a wonderful, special spirit.  Asher is funny, kind, smart, and just a delight.  Heavenly Father sent him to me to help me notice and remember the humor and joy in life.  I love you, Asher!

Needed a Change

I've just been feeling this urge to change things lately.  I'm purging and rearranging and organizing my house, I'm swapping out ill-fitting clothes for better fitting, and today, I chopped off my hair.  It's a fresh start time of year.

(Anyone else immediately think of Edith from Downton Abby?  Meh.  Oh well.)

I guess the videos aren't working.  I'll have to try to fix it sometime.

I spent about an hour uploading photos and video a while ago, but didn't get it finished.  Then life got busy.  Then Brian left.  And I'm not in the mood to go back and edit like I intended.  So this just is what it is.

I was trying to capture Hollyn's sweentess when she was sick early last month.  I wasn't able to capture any of the really cute stuff, so you'll just have to take my word for it.  It was adorbs!

I couldn't find her one day at Jenny's, while there in November.  When I finally did I saw just her top half sticking out of this pit.  She just smiled and waved.  Lol

A blustery day that for some reason attracted all the neighborhood kids outside.  Hollyn had to join.
